Daily Challenge

Stimulate your kidneys and release shoulder tension with 10 standing torso twists.

 How to do it:

Start with your feet hip-width apart and your arms relaxed at your sides. Moving from the waist, turn your torso and face to the left. Let your arms swing naturally and tap your lower left back with your right hand as you turn. Change directions, turning your face and torso to the right, and tapping your lower right back with your left hand. Keep your feet forward as you build speed and your arms freely swing and tap. Swing swiftly 10 times. Allow your arms to slow down gradually after you stop turning from your waist.

Why it matters:

The gentle tapping of the lower back helps to stimulate the kidneys, which have the crucial function of filtering blood and maintaining its chemical balance. The torso twist and swing also feels good as it releases tension from your shoulders. The swing may also boost your energy!

Let us know if you did it and how it worked for you!...
