National Chocolate-Covered Insects Day

Chocolate is one of the most popular flavors in the world and people will try it on anything -- strawberries, pretzels, peanuts, even bugs! This holiday honors anyone brave enough to try one.
The insects are roasted to perfection, then coated in chocolate. Most people think they even taste like chocolate covered popcorn.
In some countries, like China and Thailand, chocolate-covered insects are a delicacy. In Africa, caterpillars are an important factor in many people's diets and they eat them plain -- without the chocolate!
Test your bravery on National Chocolate-Covered Insects Day by inviting friends over for your own fear factor party to try some chocolate covered insects (you'd be surprised about the selection of chocolate-covered insects available online)!
October is National Pasta Month & National Dessert Month & National Chili Month & National Roller Skating Month & Adopt-a-Dog Month & National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This week is World Rainforest Week

Quote of the Day:
"We need worship, work and play to keep us whole. Left to ourselves, we get it all mixed up and end up worshipping our work, working at our play, and playing at our worship."
