Lee National Denim Day

Since 1996, Lee National Denim Day has been one of the largest single-day fundraisers for the fight against breast cancer, raising over $75 million in the past 13 years.
Following their simple philosophy of "one day, one cause, one cure," Lee Jeans invites companies to participate by inviting employees to wear jeans to work in exchange for a $5 contribution to the breast cancer fund.
Almost everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer-- a mom, a sister, an aunt, a friend-- but great strides have been made due to causes such as Lee National Denim Day. Learn how you can get involved!
Today is also World Vegetarian Day & Homemade Cookies Day & Simchat Torah
October is National Pasta Month & National Dessert Month & National Chili Month & National Roller Skating Month & Adopt-a-Dog Month
