Today is...
Tell a Fairy Tale Day!
From classic Grimm tales to modern-day stories, this day is all about letting your imagination roam free. Read fairy tales to your kids, or just read them for fun!
What’s your favorite fairy tale? There are countless stories to choose from. Little Red Riding Hood, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, and the Princess and the Pea are all whimsical fairy tales that have entertained children and adults alike for many years.
A fairy tale is traditionally a short story with mythical and fantastic characters such as elves, fairies, gnomes and more. These stories are meant to enchant readers.
Celebrate today and gather with friends or family to read aloud your favorite fairy tales. Spark kids’ creativity and encourage them to write one of their own!
