History for February 20th 1839 - Anti-dueling law was passed by US Congress. The famous duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr which resulted in Hamilton's death may have helped the anti-dueling cause. 1872 - In New York City the Metropolitan Museum of Art opens. 1873 -  The University of California opens its first medical school in San Francisco, California, dedicated to saving lives, and improving health. 1951 -  "The African Queen", starring Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart, opens at the Capitol Theatre in New York City.   1992 -   Ross Perot says he'll run for President on Larry King Show as an Independent.
