National Cherry Popover Day

It’s National Cherry Popover Day! A popover is a light muffin made from thin batter which rises to form a hollow shell when baked.
This sweet treat can have several health benefits as well. That’s right—the cherry is a good source of melatonin, which can help you sleep better at night and can stimulate your brain. Now there’s a reason to celebrate!
Today, make or buy a batch of cherry popovers to celebrate National Cherry Popover Day!
Today is also Emma M. Nutt Day
September is National Piano Month & National Organic Harvest Month

 Quote of the Day:

Reflections on Life
"Money may be the husk of many things, but not the kernel. It brings you food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; acquaintances, but not friends; servants, but not loyalty; days of joy, but not peace or happiness."

--Henrick Ibsen
